Community Living Hamilton is offering virtual recreation and leisure programs free of charge to all persons with developmental disabilities aged 18 and over. Activities are designed and organized to focus on community participation, social interaction, and skill development.
Registration is now open for our Spring Session programs, which run for 13 weeks from April 12 through June 24, 2021. To sign up for for programming, please complete the REGISTRATION FORM. Participants are welcomed and encouraged to register for as many activities as they wish that are of interest to them!
Available programs will run on a weekly schedule and include a wide spectrum of recreational, educational and wellness-based activities, as well as life skills training. These programs will be offered at various times throughout the day Monday to Saturday.
To participate, registrants must have access to an electronic device such as a laptop, tablet, smartphone, as well as internet connectivity as programs will be offered in an online virtual format.
All programming information and any necessary materials will be provided via email and/or mail. Please note: Registration is free, however a small fee to cover the cost of materials may be charged for certain activities or you may purchase these separately.

Dance Yourself Fit: Workout using popular dances like the Macarena, the Electric Slide and Boot Scooting Booty.
It’s a Holiday? We all know the traditional holidays like Easter but there many unknown, silly and bizarre holidays celebrated around the world. Join us each week to learn about “new” holidays.
It’s All Fun and Games: Enjoy some friendly competition while we explore some game (Trivia, Bingo and Pictionary etc.).
Zumba: “Exercise in disguise”. Learn some core steps and then get ready to get moving to a Latin beat.
Yoga: Come and join us in this calming exercise that helps develop flexibility and strength. Perfect for any fitness level.
Sit and Fit: Get fit from the the comfort of your chair with this light and easy workout!
Book Club: Sit back and relax and listen to adventures, travels and a ton of fun!
Virtual Tours: Come and enjoy tours from the Zoo to palace’s to Underwater fun! Travel from the comfort of your home.
Music Madness: Looking at different kind of music! What’s your favorite? The 80s? Michael Jackson? Join us to explore music.
Mindfulness and Meditation: Using your imagination to explore being mindful. Finish the night off with a relaxing meditation.
Around the World: Explore other nations, countries and cities. Learn a new language, check out a yummy recipe and do a tour of the location.
