HAMILTON, ONT (November 30, 2018) – After much thought and reflection, Randy Allen is stepping down as President of the Board of Directors, Community Living Hamilton (CLH), effective immediately. Allen has served faithfully on the board and has held the position of President for six years. He will complete his third term as a director ending June 2019.
“I wish to thank the board for their constant support during my tenure, and Sylvia D’Intino for her leadership as Executive Director. Most importantly, I’d like to extend my appreciation to the employees and volunteers of CLH – your dedication to our clients is most valued,” said Allen.
Joe Obermeyer was elected to the position of Board President. Obermeyer is in his third term on the board and has served as Treasurer since 2015. “I wish to thank Randy Allen and Judy Colantino for their leadership and volunteer service as President and First Vice President over many years. I look forward to beginning my term with strength, passion, and full confidence in the Board’s abilities to govern with a focus on the organization’s mission,” said Obermeyer. “I have great trust and confidence in both the Executive Director’s and the senior team’s abilities to carry the vision forward, promoting a community of inclusion while helping to build great lives.”
