Everyday volunteers play an important role at Community Living Hamilton.  They assist our employees with helping our clients be a part of the community.  If you have a sincere commitment and a positive attitude, Community Living Hamilton can provide you with an rewarding volunteer experience.

Community Living Hamilton offers many volunteer options - working with children or adults, or within group homes and day program settings - you are sure to find a volunteer opportunity that meets your needs.  If you are a McMaster University student, you may be interested in the Best Buddies program.

Best Buddies is a national charitable organization dedicated to enhancing the community through one-to-one friendships between adults who have intellectual disabilities and university students.  Community Living Hamilton partners with the McMaster University Chapter.  Best Buddies - McMaster Chapter.

The Friendly Calling program provides seniors of the greater Hamilton area support and information to maximize their ability to age at home.  The program helps with 'aging at home' through a weekly telephone call by a volunteer who lends a friendly ear.  For more information or to become a volunteer, please visit http://dundascommunityservices.on.ca/ .
